Recap: NU earns first ever Women’s Tennis crown

National University continued its unbeaten run by running over Adamson University 67-43, notching its fifth straight win in the UAAP Season 76 Juniors basketball tournament on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Star point guard Hubert Cani once again led the Bullpups anew by tallying a team-high 14 points to go along with his 5 rebounds and 4 assists. NU as a team dominated the glass with a whopping 62 rebounds while the Baby Falcons only managed 37.
Reinier Quinga topscored to Adamson with 17 points and 7 rebounds.
NU seized the top spot at the team standings with 5-0 record while Adamson remained winless at 0-4.
In the first game, defending champion Far Eastern University defeated the University of the Philippines Integrated School 63-55.
JJ Domingo led the Baby Tamaraws with 18 points and 7 assists.
Diego Dario topscored for the Junior Maroons with 20 points.
FEU improved to 2-2 while UPIS dropped to 1-3.
The UAAP Season 76 Juniors basketball tournament resumes tomorrow, Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Mall of Asia Arena as the University of Sto. Tomas (2-2) locks horns with the University of the East (1-3) at 8:00 A.M. while unbeaten De La Salle-Zobel (4-0) takes on Ateneo de Manila University (1-2) in the second game at 10:00 A.M..
