Bullpups demolish DLSZ to stay perfect, Baby Tams win 4th straight

National University kept its unbeaten streak alive after a decisive 77-58 victory over De La Salle-Zobel in the UAAP Season 76 Juniors basketball tournament on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

JP Cauilan paced the Bullpups with 24 points and 13 rebounds. NU asserted their might off the glass by outrebounding the Junior Archers 72-42.

With the win, the Bullpups stand alone at the top of the standings with a 6-0 record while DLSZ absorbed its second straight loss to fall to 4-2.

In the first game, defending champion Far Eastern University-Diliman crushed the University of the East, 81-55, to win their fourth straight contest after a 0-2 start. The Junior Warriors dropped to 2-4.

The UAAP Season 76 Juniors basketball tournament continues on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Araneta Coliseum as the University of the Philippines Integrated School (0-5) gets set to face the University of Sto. Tomas (2-3) at 8:00 A.M. while Ateneo de Manila University (3-2) battles Adamson University (1-4) in the second game at 10:00 A.M.
