Which Terrence Romeo will show up?
Romeo and Far Eastern University seek to bounce back from a first loss when they take on De La Salle University in the 76th UAAP men's basketball tournament on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Tamaraws were upended by National University on Wednesday, as Romeo played atrociously all game long, especially in crunch time when he attempted to take over for FEU, but miserably failed.
But if his first seven games are an indication, expect the leading MVP contender to rebound from that sorry effort when he goes up against the Green Archers.
Likewise, coach Nash Racela and the rest of the Tamaraws would be hard-pressed to avoid starting a losing skein that could destroy what has been a splendid tournament for the Morayta-based squad so far.
Going for FEU, however, is the way they dealt La Salle a loss in their first round encounter, when the Tamaraws fought their way from 13 points down in the last 156 seconds to force overtime.
FEU then imposed its will in the extra period to snatch the victory.
After getting hospitalized right after their loss to the Bulldogs, former MVP RR Garcia is expected to be back in harness for the Tamaraws while the Archers will also get back the services of Thomas Torres and Luigi dela Paz, who missed their win over Adamson University due to flu-like symptoms.
The game will air live on Studio 23, BALLS HD 167 and uaapsports.tv with a same day replay tonight at 10 p.m. on BALLS SkyCable channel 34/ Destiny Cable channel 36.
