UAAP Wednesday games postponed

With torrential rains continuing to batter Luzon, the UAAP has cancelled seniors and women's division games scheduled for Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

"Due to the continuous rain and flood around the Metro, we are canceling the UAAP Basketball Men and Women's games tomorrow," UAAP secretary-treasurer Malou Isip said in a statement.

Winless University of the Philippines, parading new coach Rey Madrid, was tipped to battle University of the East while the match between Ateneo de Manila University and University of Santo Tomas will also be rescheduled to a later date.

The women's games postponed are between UE and De La Salle University and Adamson University against Ateneo.

Yesterday, the UAAP also announced the cancellation of juniors basketball games scheduled for today at the Blue Eagle Gym.
