After incurring his second unsportsmanlike foul, RR Garcia was suspended for one game by the UAAP, the league announced Tuesday.
The Far Eastern University guard will be out for the Tamaraws' game against University of the East on Sunday, exactly a week after being slapped with his second flagrant foul against De La Salle University.
Having problems getting his game going, Garcia vented his frustration by elbowing Archers guard Oda Tampus and being called for an unsportsmanlike foul.
FEU's second leading scorer was first called for an unsportsmanlike foul in the Season 76 opener, when an irate Garcia threw the ball at the Red Warriors' Lordy Casajeros.
Garcia has averaged 13.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals for the Tamaraws, who have posted a 7-2 record so far.
