Lady Spikers eye first round sweep

League-leading and undefeated De La Salle University goes for a sweep of the first round when it takes on winless University of the East at 2 p.m. at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.

The Lady Spikers, fresh off a straight set victory over bitter rival Ateneo de Manila University, have so far won all six of their assignments this season and have not yielded a set.

Even more impressive is DLSU's 22-game winning streak dating back to the first game of Season 75.

While La Salle has dominated the competition, UE has been the exact opposite, having lost all of their games this campaign.

The Lady Warriors have also lost 23 consecutive matches dating back to Season 74.
