Recap: NU earns first ever Women’s Tennis crown

National University goes for its sixth straight victory when it battles rejuvenated University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP 76 women’s volleyball tournament on Wednesday at the Filoil Flying V Arena.
Game time is set at 4 p.m.
NU stretched its winning streak to five games after beating Far Eastern University in three sets last Saturday to up its record to 7 – 1, one game behind league-leading De La Salle University.
The Lady Bulldogs are expected to be powered by sisters Dindin and Jaja Santiago along with Mina Aganon and Myla Pablo.
Meanwhile, UST finally halted a four-game slide after defeating University of the East in four sets last Saturday.
The win improved the Tigresses’ record to 3 – 5 for sixth place.
The España-based squad is expected to rely on Pam Lastimosa, Mela Tunay and rookie Ria Meneses.
The game will air live over ABS-CBN Sports+Action, BALLS SkyCable HD 167 and uaapsports.tv with a same day replay on BALLS SkyCable channel 34/ Destiny Cable channel 36 starting at 9 p.m.
